Juanita Mok, set to make her third Asian Games appearance, won a silver medal in taijiquan during her Games debut in Jakarta in 2018. She will compete in the women's combined taijiquan and taijijian event in Japan. "As this is my third time joining the Asian Games, I actually feel more relaxed and really want to enjoy those four minutes on the competition carpet," Mok said. Mok added that her routines at the upcoming Games would be more varied and rhythmic compared to previous editions. Meanwhile, Lydia Sham, who has won multiple gold medals at world-level competitions, will focus solely on the women's changquan event.
