US CG meets business leaders, others during Hyderabad visit
HYDERABAD: US Consul General Charles Goodman concluded a two-day visit to Hyderabad on September 2, and met with business leaders, government officials, entrepreneurs, and exchange programme alumni to strengthen US-Pakistan commercial ties, showcase American innovation, and mark the 250th anniversary of US independence. Trade and Investment CG Goodman met with the Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Sindh Abadgar Board to discuss trade and investment in Hyderabad’s agricultural and industrial sectors, which span food processing, textiles, auto parts, and mineral resources including coal, marble, and gypsum. In discussions with Hyderabad area animal feed producers who use animal feed technology from Siemens USA and Elanco USA technology, CG Goodman welcomed a new agreement streamlining fumigation requirements for soybean imports.
