Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Friday in line with their gain in the international market. In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs469,136 after a gain of Rs3,900 during the day. Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at RS402,208 after it increased by Rs3,344, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). On Thursday, gold price per tola reached Rs465,236 after an increase of Rs11,200 during the day. The international rate of gold was up by $39 to reach $4,466 per ounce (with a premium of $20). Meanwhile, the price of silver increased by Rs117 to reach Rs7,161 per tola.
