HSBC prices $348.3 million Samurai bond sale, term sheet shows
HONG KONG: HSBC Holdings has priced a 54.3 billion yen ($348.3 million) Samurai bond sale in three parts, according to a term sheet seen by Reuters on Friday. Here are more details: HSBC sold 21.6 billion yen of bonds due in September 2030 with a 2.769% coupon, 25.7 billion yen of notes due in September 2032 paying 3.227% and 7.0 billion yen of bonds due in September 2037 with a 3.879% coupon. The 2030 notes were priced at 75 basis points over yen mid-swap rates, the 2032 notes at 95 basis points over swaps and the 2037 notes at 110 basis points over swaps.
