India's soyoil imports hit record high in August and palm six-month peak, dealers say

Indian refiners sharply increased edible oil imports in August to build stocks ahead of the festive season. Palm oil imports rose 7% to 780,000 tonnes, while soyoil imports jumped 21% to a record 601,000 tonnes.
