French Court Orders Re-display of Gaza Football Stadium Photo at Deauville Festival After Removal

A French court on Monday ordered the municipality of Deauville to re-display a photograph of a football stadium in the Gaza Strip, deeming the municipality's decision to withdraw it from a prestigious photography festival unnecessary and disproportionate. The exhibition is scheduled to run until September 6, while Deauville municipal officials informed the court that re-printing and displaying the photo again would take six days.
