Growing Rejection of Al-Burhan's Dialogue... Accusations Against Commission of Undermining Peace

The circle of Sudanese rejection widened regarding the African Union Commission's welcoming of Army Commander Abdel Fattah al-Burhan's initiative, known as the "Sudanese-Sudanese Dialogue." The Sudan Founding Coalition ("Taasis") and the Sudan Liberation Movement/Army led by Abdel Wahid Mohamed Nur announced their rejection of the Commission's stance, considering that it provides regional cover for a unilateral path controlled by one of the warring parties, paving the way to legitimize military rule and the return of Islamists to power.
