China upgrades key Heilongjiang railway to support north-to-south grain shipments

The Youyi-Baoqing Railway in northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province officially launched trial operation on Monday, following comprehensive track renewal and station track upgrading works. The renovation has further consolidated the key freight corridor that transports grain from the Sanjiang Plain to domestic markets nationwide.
