ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has collected Rs1,722 billion during the first two months of 2026-27 against the ambitious target of Rs1,710 billion, reflecting an increase of Rs12 billion. In August 2026, the FBR collected Rs902 billion against the monthly target of Rs930 billion, showing a decrease of Rs28 billion. Overall, the target for the July-August (2026-27) has been met by the collective efforts of tax machinery.
