Libya: Political parties' battle begins with electoral law

Libya's political process has entered a new phase following the signing of the 4+4 Committee agreement by parties involved in the UN political track. The agreement provides for holding presidential and legislative elections within a period not exceeding 24 months, alongside restructuring the Board of Directors of the High National Elections Commission and working to unify institutions and executive authority.
