First-ever elite training for 73 railways police ASIs

LAHORE: In order to enhance the professional capabilities of Railways Police officers, particularly in dealing with modern security challenges, responding to emergencies and ensuring the effective protection of passengers 73 recently recruited Probationer Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) of Railways Police have been sent to the Elite Police Training Centre, Bedian, Lahore, for an eight-week for specialized Orientation Course. The training will also contribute towards further strengthening the security of train operations in Balochistan, where the railway network and train services face particular security challenges. Professionally trained officers equipped with modern policing, tactical and security skills will be better prepared to respond to emerging threats and ensure the safe and secure movement of trains and passengers. The 73 Probationer ASIs will undergo eight weeks of professional training at the Elite Police Training Centre, Bedian.
