Norway Pledges $9.2 Billion to Ukraine for 2027
The Norwegian government announced on Sunday plans to provide Ukraine with an additional 85 billion Norwegian kroner ($9.2 billion) in support for 2027, matching its 2026 aid levels. Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre informed President Volodymyr Zelensky of the proposal during a meeting in Kyiv. The funds, part of the Nansen Support Programme, will primarily focus on military assistance, including purchases from Ukraine’s defense industry.
